Hi there! I’m David. I’m a Colorado-based cinematographer and video editor who is passionate about crafting authentic, beautiful, and exceptionally creative branded video content with 5+ years of experience.

My passion for creating videos began in childhood with the family camcorder, and it has evolved into a global adventure. I have filmed around the world, shot and edited award-winning content (10 Telly Awards including a Gold for Best Editing) and been responsible for the full production lifecycle. My work has ranged from concept development and filming (both in studio and internationally) to post-production, which has included editing and animation/motion graphics.

Currently, I am a Content Producer at True Anomaly, where I capture the most complex challenges in space engineering. From the factory floor to mission control, I document the technology and people safeguarding global security through space superiority for the U.S. and its allies. This role requires a high level of technical precision, capturing the intersection of cutting-edge hardware and mission-critical storytelling.

Collaboration, authentic storytelling, and a commitment to excellence drives everything I create.

I have experience filming in 13 countries and throughout the USA. I am also a registered drone pilot in the USA, UK, EU (A1, A2 and A3), Japan, and Panama.

True Anomaly | Content Producer | March 2026-Present

• Lead Visual Storyteller: I serve as the primary on-site cinematographer and photographer, capturing the development of spacecraft, hardware production, and mission control operations.

• End-to-End Production: Responsible for the full creative lifecycle, from pre-production (scripting and storyboarding) to on-set execution and final delivery of the edit.

• Post-Production: I edit story-driven content using Adobe Premiere Pro, overseeing sound design, color grading, and asset management via Frame.io.

• Operational Oversight: Responsible for directing production logistics for mid-size shoots, including talent coordination, vendor management, and maintaining high-velocity deliverable pipelines.

• Brand Evolution: I also collaborate with the Marketing Team to define and scale the visual identity of the brand.

EF Educational Tours | Video Shooter & Editor | July 2021–January 2026

• Ideated and planned content for productions and ad campaigns in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing all pre-production elements (e.g., brief interpretation, storyboarding, scouting, and interview development). Increased efficiency by implementing new AI editing tools.

• Served as a Cinematographer/Director of Photography for international and domestic shoots, utilizing fast-paced docu-style and stylized cinematography as well as operating audio equipment.

• Owned the complete post-production workflow (editing, motion graphics, sound design, color grading) for broadcast, web, and social content, collaborating with stakeholders through multiple review cycles to meet final creative objectives and strict deadlines.

• Managed all technical field operations, including studio lighting/camera setups and media backup (DIT).

• Internationally registered drone pilot (USA, UK, EU A1/A2/A3, Japan) responsible for flight authorization and planning.
